- Park Eun-bin (The King’s Affection) is just too cute in ENA’s Extraordinary Attorney Woo and we have some new posters as well as a new teaser that came out this past week. Also starring Kang Tae-oh (Doom at Your Service) and Kang Ki-young (A Moment at Eighteen), the drama premieres in just a few days on June 29. [News1]
- Jeon Do-yeon (Human Disqualification) and Jung Kyung-ho (Hospital Playlist 2) are confirmed for tvN’s One Time Scandal (roughly translated), which is slotted to broadcast in early 2023. With writing done by Yang Hee-seung (Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-ju), PD Yoo Je-won (Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha) is at the helm. [Sports Chosun]
- Writer Lee Soo-yeon (Grid) of the acclaimed Forest of Secrets series is working on a new drama called Dominant Species (roughly translated). The sci-fi is set to start filming this September and the lead role has been offered to Joo Ji-hoon (Jirisan). Although the broadcaster is still being discussed, the aim is for a global online platform. [Osen]
- TVING’s upcoming To the X Who Doesn’t Love Me has put out new promos, including a new poster and video teaser. Starring a fresh-faced cast led by Han Ji-hyo (Tomorrow) and NCT’s Doyoung, the romance will be coming to our screens on July 14. [Newsis]
- KBS’s Three Brave Siblings announced their main lineup: Im Joo-hwan (The Spies Who Loved Me), Lee Hana (Voice 4), Kim Seung-soo (Show Window: The Queen’s House), Wang Bit-na (River Where the Moon Rises), Lee Tae-sung (Ghost Doctor), Kim So-eun (Lonely Enough to Love), and Lee Yoo-jin (Idol: The Coup). Written by Kim In-young and directed by PD Park Man-young, the weekender will be broadcasting towards the end of 2022. [MK Sports (1), (2)]
- Moving from OCN to tvN, Missing: The Other Side is launching a second season with leads Go Soo (Missing: The Other Side), Heo Jun-ho (Why Her), Ahn So-hee (Thirty-Nine), and Ha Joon (Crazy Love) reprising their roles. Newly joining the cast are Lee Jung-eun (Our Blues) and Kim Dong-hwi (Forest of Secrets 2). Set to release later this year, production remains in the hands of PD Min Yeon-hong – newly joined by PD Lee Ye-rim – with scripts penned by Ban Ki-ri and Jung So-young. [Newsen]
- KBS’s Cafe Minamdang has put out fun new character posters of Seo In-gook (Doom at Your Service), Oh Yeon-seo (Mad for Each Other), Kwak Shi-yang (Idol: The Coup), Kang Mina (Moonshine), and Kwon Soo-hyun (Crime Puzzle). Kwak, in particular, seems to be having a lot of fun with his role and I can’t wait for the premiere on Monday! [Newsis]
- Character stills have been released for SBS’s Today’s Webtoon, featuring our main trio: Kim Se-jung (Business Proposal), Daniel Choi (Ghost Detective), and Nam Yoon-soo (The King’s Affection).
