We should compile our own list of things that don’t need to be in a drama like this and if they have two of more of those we bin in. Amnesia, life threatening or degenerative illness, stalker, domestic violence, loss of parent by a violent/sudden death when they were a child or raised in a children’s home, so they or their partner is more likely to be violent and aggressive when drunk.
