- New character posters have arrived for Disney+’s Call It Love, showcasing the main cast: Kim Young-kwang (Somebody), Lee Sung-kyung (Shooting Stars), Sung Joon (Island), Hani (Hit the Spot), and Kim Ye-won (You Are My Spring). The romance premieres next week on February 22, with scripts by Kim Ga-eun and PD Lee Kwang-young (The Secret Life of My Secretary) at the helm. [Xports News]
- SBS released new stills of our young boarding house matron Shin Ye-eun (The Glory) in the upcoming Romantic Guest House. Also starring Ryeoun (Through the Darkness), Kang Hoon (Little Women), and Jung Geon-joo (Kiss Sixth Sense) as her lodgers, the fictional sageuk will be airing in the Monday-Tuesday slot starting March 20. - Yoon Chan-young (All of Us Are Dead) is reviewing an offer to star in a new adaptation of the Israeli TV series Kvodo, which also has a popular American remake called Your Honor. Still in the planning stages, filming is reported to begin this year with PD Pyo Min-soo (The Third Charm, The Producers) attached to direct. [MBC]
- Choi Min-soo (Extracurricular) and Yeonwoo (The Golden Spoon) have confirmed casting for MBC’s Numbers: Watchdogs in a Concrete Jungle, joining L (a.k.a. Kim Myung-soo) (Secret Royal Inspector) and Choi Jin-hyuk (Zombie Detective) in the lineup. Production is being led PD Kim Chil-bong along with writers Jung Ahn and Oh Hye-seok. [MBC]
- Over on Netflix, a new poster and video teaser have dropped for their crime-action Kill Boksoon, featuring our dark heroine Jeon Do-yeon (Crash Course in Romance). Releasing next month on March 31, the movie also stars Sol Kyung-gu (Yaksha: Ruthless Operations), Esom (Taxi Driver), and Gu Kyo-hwan (Monstrous). Sports Donga]
- Also upcoming on Netflix’s calendar is Part 2 of The Glory, which will be coming to our screens on March 10. In the latest batch of stills, we get another peek at our characters in the second half of the story, including Song Hye-gyo (Now, We Are Breaking Up), Lee Do-hyun (Melancholia), Im Ji-yeon (Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area), and Yeom Hye-ran (The Uncanny Counter) among others.
