The drama is exactly as described on the can, “improvished guy uses enchanted spoon to switch life with rich guy and finds out that money doesn’t necessarily equal happiness”.
That’s the premise and the show delievers on that. It’s the windy road that shows this that might cause irritation for people. There are aspects that just feel unnecessary and as if that time and effort could’ve been used further delving into wealth inequality and social stigma or even focusing more on the guys who lives were swapped.
But I get that this is supposed to be for entertainment and not shoving social issues down our throats so everything is exaggerated, stakes are raised, antagonists turn out to be monsters, and characters fall into familiar archtypes so it’s easy to put them in boxes such as villian, sweet cinnamon roll who should be protected at all cost, pure hearted hero, etc.
Personally, I found the show interesting and entertaining enough. I also understood where (most) of the characters were coming from and that kept me engaged. This is just a random thing but it makes me chuckle: there are so many running scenes haha. It kinda reminds me of scenes when people have emotional showers or standing in the rain haha just alot of emotional running away from situations.
I thought the swapped boys had satisfying endings as well as some of the antagonists. I might consider rewatching this again.
